A técnica Alexander e seus benefícios aplicados ao músico

Abstract

This work points out the benefits obtained through the application of the Alexander Technique in the performance of the musician. We explain about the life of Alexander and how the Technique was created by him. We have a brief bibliographic relationship making a connection between the musical medium and the Alexander Technique. We will also present the work carried out from the research to the workshop developed during a week with selected musicians, who, in turn, presented the results in questionnaires presented below. Using these answers as a reference, we did an analysis of before and after student participation, thus being able to affirm the benefits that the Alexander Technique provides the musician, not only physically, but also in the performatic scope.
