Despertar o outrora no agora: ensaios sobre as configurações do tempo e da memória em Walter Benjamin

Abstract

I aim to interpret and to interrogate the concepts of time and memory that reverberate in the thought of the German thinker Walter Benjamin, from the notion of contemporaneous of Agamben. I consider that the unfoldings of the Benjamin s theoretical arguments provide an accurate reflection about the sensibility and historical writing, in its possibilities and limits. I will reflect about the presence of the judeo-messianic temporality and the proustian temporality in Benjamin s thought, discussing the operations done by the memory between the past, the now and the possible times.
