| Summary: | Este trabalho reflete o viver dos trabalhadores na cidade de Uberaba, referendado nas memórias, nas experiências e nas muitas histórias dos moradores do Conjunto Alfredo Freire. Nele procuro interpretar as expectativas, as tensões e as realizações dos moradores do Conjunto Alfredo Freire na cidade, a partir das expressões dos registros vinculados à produção da memória oficial, defendidos para a cidade, e nas memórias e significados atribuídos pelos sujeitos com os quais dialogo que vivenciaram e ainda vivenciam esse viver. Desta forma, busco interpretar as transformações e mudanças históricas ocorridas em Uberaba, vinculadas às muitas experiências relatadas. Analisar as dimensões desse viver, abordando o lazer, o trabalho, os vínculos estabelecidos, os sonhos e as expectativas com a cidade que fazem parte dos objetivos traçados para este trabalho. |
| Abstract: | This work reflects the workers way of life in Uberaba city, based on records, on experiences and on many stories told by the residents of Alfredo Freire area. Through it, I try to interpret these residents expectations, their tensions and their accomplishments, regarding the records expressions on the production of the city s official memory and the life experiences of those who used to be, and still are part of that neighborhood environment. This way, I try to interpret the historical transformations and changes that happened in Uberaba, linked to the many reported experiences. Analysing the dimensions of their way of living, approaching the leisure activities, the work, the established links, the dreams and the expectations over the city, are all part of this work intended objectives. |
