Resumo
A presente dissertação, inscrita na temática da história das disciplinas, tem por objetivo
investigar a história disciplinar da História da Educação no espaço da formação de professores
e profissionais da educação da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. O período analisado é o
compreendido entre 1961, primeiro ano de funcionamento da disciplina no ensino superior e o
ano 2000, marcado por transformações internas à disciplina, além dos reflexos da
reorganização administrativa da universidade. O problema motivador dessa pesquisa
encontra-se na necessidade de compreender as finalidades ideais e reais assumidas pelo
ensino de História da Educação ao longo do tempo. Para tanto, partiu-se da leitura e análise
dos materiais históricos da disciplina como planos de curso, projetos pedagógicos,
regulamentações e outros do tipo impresso que somados à realização de entrevistas com os
docentes da disciplina resultaram na constituição das fontes necessárias à investigação. Em
linhas gerais, percebem-se duas intensidades diferentes na trajetória histórica da disciplina:
menos intensas são as transformações operadas na dimensão ideal, basicamente, marcada por
movimentos mais lentos e mais visíveis, como por exemplo, mudanças de conteúdo, objetivos
e bibliografias; mais intensas são as mudanças identificadas na dimensão real da disciplina,
que indica ter ocorrido um movimento de atualização disciplinar, responsável por rever uma
possível postura subsidiária e mesmo secundarizada, em defesa de uma disciplina
relativamente estável, delineada internamente, alinhada com os investimentos da pesquisa,
mas que ainda assim, enfrenta problemas, como é o caso da redução da demanda pelo
componente curricular.
Abstract
This dissertation, enrolled in the subject of history disciplines, aims to investigate the
disciplinary history of the History of Education in the area of teacher education and
professional education at the Federal University of Uberlândia. The sample period is the
period between 1961, the first year of operation of the discipline in higher education and the
year 2000, marked by internal changes to the discipline. This research is moved the need to
understand the goals and ideals of education borne by the real history of education over time.
Therefore broke, up the reading and analysis of historical materials of the discipline as course
plans, teaching projects, regulations and other type of printed and added to interviews with
teachers of discipline resulted in the establishment of the necessary sources for research. In
general, perceive themselves two different intensities in the historical trajectory of the
discipline: less intense are the transformations in ideal dimension basically marked by slower
movements and more visible, such as changes in content, objectives and bibliographies; more
intense changes are identified in real dimension of the discipline that have occurred indicates
a movement update disciplinary responsible for reviewing a possible subsidiary posture and
even sidelined in defense of a discipline relatively stable, internally lined, lined with
investment research, but still faces problems such as the demand reduction by curricular
component.
