proveniente desta fonte no ponto receptor localizado externamente à planta industrial.
Simulações numéricas e experimentos comprovaram os excelentes resultados obtidos. No
fontes no ponto receptor.
Abstract
In the last twenty years, studies about the effect of the noise in the hearing and in the quality
of life of the human being had gotten a great impulse, considering that the noise can cause
disturbances during the sleep and in the health of the human being. One of the biggest sources
of these studies, aims to analyze the influence of the industrial noise in the quality of the
exterior environment where the people circulate or remain, being this type of noise one of the
biggest causes of claims of the communities in the competent agency of its city. Once
numerical-computational simulations for control of ambient noise generate errors of the order
of 5 dB, a methodology consisting of the determination of Transfer Function (FT) between the
noise source of interest and the receiving point, using adaptive filter LMS (Least Mean
Square) and a reference source (generating of sine sweep). With the FT estimated and the
acquired signal (acoustic pressure) next to the noise source, which we want to quantify, it is
possible to estimate the level of noise proceeding from this source in the receiving point,
which is located externally to the industrial plant. Excellent results were obtained with
numerical simulations that agreed reasonably with experiments. However, the capacity of
filtering of the filter is compromised when the level of energy of the reference source is
reduced if compared with the energy generated for the other sources in the receiving point.
