Resumo
O presente estudo é baseado em um projeto, criado pelo autor, que busca
conciliar a produção de vídeos por alunos do sexto ano do Ensino Fundamental com
o estudo de um componente curricular, principalmente sua utilização cotidiana, da
disciplina de Matemática: os ângulos. Para tal, o projeto contou com a participação
de vinte e cinco alunos que estudam em uma escola da cidade de Uberlândia/MG, no
mês de junho de 2018. Foi realizada uma breve revisão teórica sobre a tecnologia,
em especial, os vídeos, e as mudanças provocadas na forma de se transmitir informações,
na educação e nos sonhos dos jovens brasileiros e como os ângulos podem
ser utilizados. Utilizou-se referenciais para serem bases teóricas para o projeto “Videoângulos”
e, descreveu-se a proposta do projeto e os dias em que o “Videoângulos” foi
desenvolvido na escola junto aos alunos. Os vídeos produzidos pelos alunos no projeto
são analisados juntamente a um questionário respondido pelos participantes. Pelas
análises realizadas, foi possível concluir que a participação dos alunos no projeto foi de
acordo com o esperado e o projeto “Videoângulos” cumpriu os objetivos previstos, por
exemplo, proporcionar oportunidades para desenvolver o “olhar crítico” dos alunos para
a presença da Matemática no cotidiano deles.
Abstract
The present study is based on a project, created by the author, that seeks to
reconcile the production of videos with the study of a curricular component, mainly its
daily use, of the Mathematics discipline of the sixth year of elementary school, namely:
the angles. To this end, the project had the participation of twenty-five students studying
at a school in the city of Uberlândia / MG, in June 2018. We will initially see a brief
context about how the presence of technology, the videos, provoked changes in the
way information was transmitted, in the education and dreams of Brazilian youth; and
how the angles remain being widely used. We used references to be theoretical bases
for the project “Videoangles” and then we will describe the proposal of the project and
we will report the days in which the “Videoangles” was developed in the school, with
the students. Finally, all the videos that were produced in the project will be analyzed
together with a questionnaire answered by the participating students. With all this, we
will conclude that the participation of the students in the project was splendid, as well as
that the “Videoangles” fulfilled all the goals that were put to it, for example, to provide
opportunities to develop students’ “critical look” for the presence of Mathematics in their
daily lives.
