Resumo
Este trabalho traz a abordagem teórica e prática de filósofos,
artistas e arquitetos que trabalharam com
a noção de escala - de forma direta ou indireta - em
suas obras. Com a intenção de analisar e entender seus
contextos e suas vontades, a pesquisa se estrutura
em viagens temporais que percorrerão diversas eras.
Durante os anos da graduação, entrei em contato intenso
com a escala, por isso, apresento com esse trabalho
final, todo o repertório imaginativo que criei ao
longo da minha formação, acerca deste tema. Aceitei
o princípio da escala como indispensável do início
do processo criativo à representação e execução final
da matéria construída, e durante esse processo, podemos,
se desejado, distorcer e aniquilar esse princípio
e adequar qualquer objeto (independente de dimensão)
a uma determinada forma ou espacialidade.
Talvez tenham sido necessárias distorções filosóficas,
conceituais e formais para que se pudesse apresentar
ao olhar humano, um meio alternativo de se empregar
o princípio da escala, e levar nosso olhar, a novos
lugares que até então, eram invisíveis. Conheci a
arquitetura como uma forma do conhecimento, e não
apenas um conhecimento da forma. Portanto, procuro
mostrar aqui, que o domínio artístico atrelado ao conhecimento
da escala pode revelar maneiras inusitadas
de se ver e pensar o mundo que conhecemos.
Por fim transportar tais revelações para discussão
de arquitetura e cidade e buscar entender como seriam
suas aplicações na forma de um projeto arquitetônico,
que mantêm escondidas - nas entrelinhas
da escala – inúmeras possibilidades formais.
Abstract
This work brings the theoretical and practical approach of philosophers,
artists and architects who worked with
the notion of scale - directly or indirectly - in
Your works. With the intention of analyzing and understanding
contexts and their desires, the research
in temporal journeys that will cover several eras.
During the undergraduate years, I came into intense contact
with the scale, so I present with this work
end, the whole imaginative repertoire that I
during my training, on this subject. I accepted
the principle of scale as indispensable from the outset
from the creative process to the representation and final execution
of the constructed matter, and during this process, we can,
if desired, distort and annihilate this principle
and tailor any object (independent of size)
to a certain form or spatiality.
Perhaps philosophical distortions were necessary,
conceptual and formal aspects so that
to the human eye, an alternative means of employing
the principle of scale, and take our gaze to new
places that until then were invisible. I met the
architecture as a form of knowledge, not
just a knowledge of form. Therefore, I seek
show here, that the artistic domain linked to knowledge
scale can reveal unusual ways
to see and think the world we know.
Finally, transporting such revelations for discussion
architecture and city and try to understand how they would be
its applications in the form of an architectural project,
that they keep hidden - between the lines
of scale - innumerable formal possibilities.
