A pesquisa Ginásio Agrícola Gustavo Dutra MT: 1969 a 1974: tempos e espaços, responde
ao problema seguinte: em que medida o Ginásio Agrícola Gustavo Dutra reproduziria as
práticas do governo ditatorial brasileiro? Em exemplos: a exigência do uniforme, os cultos
cívicos extremamente ufanistas, a inserção do ensino de Educação Moral e Cívica, o dever
sempre colocado acima do direito do exercício da cidadania, a criação dos Centros Cívicos em
contraposição ao fechamento de grêmios estudantis, a rigorosa disciplina escolar e as sanções
disciplinares. Nesse contexto, demonstrou-se como o tempo e o espaço escolares foram
fundamentais na construção do projeto da extrema-direita brasileira. A hipótese inicial
destacará que o espaço escolar, quando distribuído de forma arbitrária, não é percebido nem
pelo aluno e nem pelo professor, pois ambos não conseguem se apropriar dele. Esta pesquisa
investigou como se deu a ocupação do tempo e do espaço escolar no Ginásio Agrícola
Gustavo Dutra durante o governo de Emílio Garrastazu Médici, onde se discutiu as seguintes
categorias: tempo, espaço, aluno e professor, priorizando-se a cultura escolar produzida na
escola. As categorias de análise tiveram como referências os escritos de Gatti Jr (2000), Viñao
Frago (1995); Magalhães (1999); Julia (2001 e 2002), Williams (1992), Ribeiro (2012),
Outhwaite e Bottomore (1996), Burke (2000), Burguière (1993) e Alberti (2005). A história
do tempo foi construída, principalmente através de análises de documentos escolares, que
foram confrontados com outras fontes, mormente a história oral. Após leitura e análise das
fontes, concluiu-se que a confirmação da hipótese inicial, ou seja, que o espaço escolar,
quando distribuído de forma arbitrária, não é percebido nem pelo aluno e nem pelo professor,
pois ambos não conseguem se apropriar dele não pôde ser confirmada. Observou-se que o
silêncio praticado pelos professores foi um modo de manifestação contra o regime de exceção
que imperava no país à época.
Abstract
A search for \"Times and Spaces in Agricultural Gym Gustavo Dutra, located in, Mato Grosso,
Brazil - 1969-1974\" answers to the following problem: to what extent Gym Agricultural
Gustavo Dutra reproduce the practices of the Brazilian dictatorship? As examples: the
exaggerated collection of uniform, extremely bloodproud civic cults, the inclusion of the
teaching of moral and civic education, duty always placed above the right of citizenship, the
creation of Civic Centers as opposed to the closing of the Student Council, strict school
discipline and disciplinary sanctions. In this context, it was demonstrated how the time and
space the school were instrumental in building the right-wing Brazilian project. The initial
hypothesis that highlight the school environment, where distributed arbitrarily, or is not
perceived by the student and not the teacher, they both fail to appropriate it. This research
investigated how was the occupation of time and space in the Agricultural School Gym
Gustavo Dutra during the government of Emilio Medici Garrastazu, where they discussed the
following categories: time, space, student and teacher, prioritizing the school culture produced
in school. The categories of analysis were as references the writings of Gatti Jr (2000), Viñao
Frago (1995); Magellan (1999); Julia (2001 and 2002), Williams (1992), Ribeiro (2012),
Outhwaite and Bottomore (1996), Burke (2000), Burguière (1993) and Alberti (2005). The
story time was built mainly through analysis of school documents, which were checked with
other sources, especially the oral history. After reading and analyzing the sources, it was
concluded by confirming the initial hypothesis, namely that the school environment, where
distributed arbitrarily, or is not perceived by the student and not the teacher, they both fail to
appropriate it.
