Resumo
OBJETIVO: descrever o caso clínico de uma criança
diagnosticada com Síndrome Berardinelli-Seip e suas
características bucodentais. RELATO DE CASO CLÍNICO: O paciente
do sexo masculino com a idade de 2 anos e 3 meses diagnosticado
com a Síndrome de Berardinelli, compareceu à clínica do Projeto
de Extensão de Atendimento a Bebês com Deficiência para
acompanhamento odontológico com 1 ano de idade encaminhado pelo
pediatra. O paciente foi submetido à uma avaliação pela equipe
de atendimento multiprofissional. Na anamnese a mãe relatou que
a criança recebeu o diagnóstico aos 4 meses de idade, bem como
alteração hepática, hipertricose e apresentava asma. Atualmente
o mesmo está em acompanhamento com o médico com pediatra,
endocrinologista, gastrologista, oftalmologista, fonoaudiólogo,
nutricionista e hepatologista, e faz uso da vitamina Trifan A
após o almoço. Segundo a mãe, não houve nenhuma alteração na
saúde sistêmica do paciente nos últimos meses. Ao exame
clínico intrabucal verificou-se presença de dentadura decídua
completa, com presença de biofilme dental visível, sem
atividade de cárie. A criança apresentou um comportamento
difícil, sendo necessário o uso de estabilização protetora
ativa. O tratamento proposto foi o controle do biofilme
dentário por meio de orientação de higiene bucal com a mãe e a
criança e escovação supervisionada. CONCLUSÃO: A apresentação
deste caso foi importante para disseminação do conhecimento a
respeito da SBS e suas características bucodentais. A abordagem
odontológica desse tipo de paciente, pode ser bem complexa
devido a várias alterações sistêmicas que possuem.
Abstract
OBJECTIVE: to describe the clinical case of a child
diagnosised with bucodentais Berardinelli-Seip Syndrome and its
characteristics. STORY OF CLINICAL CASE: The patient of the
masculine sex with the age of 2 years and 3 months diagnosised
with the Syndrome of Berardinelli, appeared to the clinic of
the Project of Extension of Attendance the Babies with
Deficiency for odontológico accompaniment with 1 year of age
directed for pediatra. The patient was submitted to the one
evaluation for the team of multiprofessional attendance. In
anamnese the mother told that the child received the diagnosis
to the 4 months from age, as well as hepática alteration,
hipertricose and presented asthma. Currently the same it is in
accompaniment with the doctor with pediatra, endocrinologista,
gastrologista, oftalmologista, fonoaudiólogo, nutritionist and
hepatologista, and makes use of the Trifan vitamin after the
lunch. According to mother, did not have no alteration in the
sistêmica health of the patient in the last months. To the
intrabucal clinical examination complete deciduous set of teeth
presence was verified, with visible presence of biofilme
dental, without activity of caries. The child presented a
difficult behavior, being necessary the use of active
protective stabilization. The considered treatment was the
control of biofilme dental by means of orientation of buccal
hygiene with the mother and the child and supervised escovação.
CONCLUSION: The presentation of this in case that it were
important for dissemination of the knowledge regarding the
bucodentais SBS and its characteristics. The odontológica
boarding of this type of patient, can well complex have to some
sistêmicas alterations that they possess.
