Resumo
O presente trabalho em Artes Visuais investiga as relações entre memória, objetos cotidianos
e espaço doméstico a partir da noção de memória-casa. A pesquisa parte da aproximação com
uma casa situada em um sítio no interior do estado de São Paulo, onde o convívio com seus
moradores e com os objetos do ambiente rural despertou reflexões sobre a forma como estes
se vinculam ao tempo, à permanência e ao desgaste. O objetivo consiste em desenvolver uma
investigação poética que articule fotografia, objetos e instalação como meios de elaboração
visual dessas relações unidas no campo expositivo intitulado Presença, Ausência e
Reconstrução: a memória-casa no tempo. A pesquisa adota uma abordagem qualitativa
baseada na prática artística como método investigativo, combinando levantamento de arquivos
pessoais, registros fotográficos, conversas com os moradores do local e experimentação com
processos fotográficos alternativos e instalação. Como procedimentos artísticos, foram
desenvolvidas obras utilizando cianotipia em vidro, objetos-instalação e videoinstalação. O
trabalho explora a materialidade da imagem, a dimensão simbólica dos objetos e a relação entre
presença e desaparecimento da memória, em constante reconstrução.
Abstract
The present work in Visual Arts investigates the relationships between memory, everyday
objects, and domestic space based on the notion of house-memory. The research begins with
the author's engagement with a house located on a rural property in the interior of the state of
São Paulo, where the coexistence with its residents and with the objects of the rural
environment prompted reflections on the ways in which these elements relate to time,
permanence, and wear. The objective is to develop a poetic investigation that articulates
photography, objects, and installation as means of visual elaboration of these relationships,
brought together in the exhibition field entitled Presence, Absence and Reconstruction: the
house-memory in time. The research adopts a qualitative approach based on artistic practice as
an investigative method, combining the survey of personal archives, photographic records,
conversations with the residents of the place, and experimentation with alternative
photographic processes and installation. As artistic procedures, works were developed using
cyanotype on glass, object-installations, and video installation. The work explores the
materiality of the image, the symbolic dimension of objects, and the relationship between
presence and disappearance of memory, in constant reconstruction.
