| Summary: | O presente trabalho investiga a relação entre o design das guitarras elétricas e os contextos culturais e musicais que marcaram diferentes décadas do século XX. A pesquisa propõe um catálogo editorial gráfico-informativo que apresenta modelos icônicos de guitarras como expressões visuais de movimentos musicais e comportamentais, articulando som, forma e cultura. Mais do que um registro técnico, o catálogo combina curadoria histórica e escolhas gráficas buscando oferecer uma leitura sensível e acessível da guitarra elétrica como artefato cultural capaz de narrar a história da música e das transformações visuais de seu tempo. |
| Abstract: | This paper investigates the relationship between electric guitar design and the cultural and musical contexts that marked different decades of the 20th century. The research proposes a graphic-informative editorial catalog that presents iconic guitar models as visual expressions of musical and behavioral movements, articulating sound, form, and culture. More than a technical record, the catalog combines historical curation and graphic choices, seeking to offer a sensitive and accessible interpretation of the electric guitar as a cultural artifact capable of narrating the history of music and the visual transformations of its time. |
