dc.description.abstractThe connection elements used in timber structures are considered fundamental points to be designed to ensure the safety of users. The insufficient knowledge of technical standards, inadequate execution, lack of structural projects and lack of software capable of aiding in the calculation of timber connections can lead to the limit states of these elements. In order to help the practice of timber connection execution and to simplify wood structural calculations, a computational tool will be developed to solve common cases of connections between timber pieces.pt_BR

dc.description.resumoOs elementos de ligação utilizados em estruturas de madeira são considerados pontos fundamentais a serem dimensionados para garantir a segurança dos usuários. A falta de conhecimento das normas técnicas, execução inadequada, ausência de projetos estruturais e de softwares capazes de auxiliar no cálculo das ligações em madeira podem levar aos estados limites destes elementos. Afim de auxiliar as práticas de execução de ligações em madeira e facilitar os cálculos estruturais de madeira, será desenvolvida uma ferramenta computacional para a resolução de casos comuns de ligações entre peças de madeira.pt_BR
