Rastreabilidade e sustentabilidade: uma análise das ações e incentivos na pecuária brasileira

Abstract

The matter of production of beef in Brazil must be studied due to its relevance to Brazilian’s exports of goods. This way, taking into account the foreign market’s requirements for the traceability of the product, we have to discuss about what motivates producers to adapt their production to the exportation patterns. The objective of this study is to analyze what actions have already been taken, as well as to identify existing incentives for new producers to trace their cattle. Therefore, primary and secondary sources were used, added to quantitative data which can aid in the analysis itself. The research showed how the consumer markets respond to product crisis, as well as identified that there are still incentives for the producers to adopt traceability.
