Manifestações patológicas em habitações de interesse social na cidade de Uberlândia-MG

Abstract

The high housing deficit in Brazil led to the creation of several housing programs, among them the Minha Casa Minha Vida Program, which works to build units for the low-income population. In order to leverage the construction sector, companies use low-cost and timeconsuming construction methods such as the concrete wall system. Despite the achievement of the quantitative objectives, the existence and the great incidence of the pathological manifestations are noted, neglecting the requirements of the control bodies and the current norms, as well as the performance of the buildings. The objective of this work is to verify pathological manifestations in social housing units built with resources from the Minha Casa Minha Vida Program in the city of Uberlândia. By means of on-site visits to the housing units, pathological manifestations were verified and photographic records were made for later analysis, identification and study of their occurrences.
