Memórias e experiências de trabalhadores rurais na região do Araguaia (1960 -1990)

Abstract

This research investigates the ways of living and working of the inhabitants - called in our investigation by rural workers - that inhabited or inhabit the region identified as Araguaia Region, in the context of the Araguaia Guerrilla between 1960 and 1990. We observed both the formation of experiences previous to the guerrilla as those that happen, in a plot of memory and culture. Transiting in the field of Social History, we seek to understand the dynamics of the ways of living of those subjects, as well as the relationship between the destructuring of their customary practices and the construction of a memory about the armed conflict. The analysis privileged the links between the construction of experience and memory and the demands of the past and the present of the subjects.
