dc.description.resumoNeutropenia is characterized by a deficiency or reduction in the number of mature neutrophils circulating in the blood and increased susceptibility of the host to acquire infections. The aim of this article is to report the case of a child diagnosed with cyclic neutropenia of autosomal dominant type caused by mutation of the gene ELANE and emphasize the importance of pediatric dentistry in dental care for the oral health, since the diagnosis, prevention and maintenance of oral health.pt_BR
