passe do futebol.
aprendizagem motora.
Abstract
The objective of this study was to verify the effect of video feedback on learning to pass the
ball in soccer. The sample consisted of 28 adult volunteers of both sexes (8 men and 20 women),
with an average age of 21.25 ± 2.73 years. The motor task analyzed the soccer pass and its goal
was to kick a ball towards a centralized target located at a distance of 13 meters. The study
consisted of four stages: a pre-test (5 attempts), an acquisition phase (50 attempts), a retention
test (10 attempts) and a transfer test (10 attempts, with a pass at a distance of 18 meters).
Participants were assigned almost randomly to the video feedback group (n = 14), which
received video feedback after 50% of the trials in the acquisition phase; and the control group
(n = 14), which did not receive video feedback after any attempt. The measurements used to
assess passing performance were the distance of the supporting foot, which refers to the distance
from the center of the ball to the heel of the supporting foot; the greatest distance from the
kicking foot, which is defined as the greatest distance between the center of the ball and the
lateral malleolus of the kicking foot, at the moment the participant starts to kick; the resultant
velocity and the horizontal velocity of the ball after the kick. Kinovea 0.9.5 software was used
to extract the data. The results showed no significant differences between the video feedback
group and the control group in the measures analyzed in the pre-test, retention test and transfer
test. It is concluded that the provision of video feedback did not lead to different movement
pattern parameters of the soccer pass in the analysis of its motor learning process.
