Reflexões sobre a química orgânica no curso de licenciatura em química: O enade em foco.

Abstract

The present paper was a qualitative research whose objective was to identify the reason why the chemistry graduates of the Federal University of Uberlândia, campus Pontal present difficulties in the disciplines of Organic Chemistry, having as main focus the ENADE 2017. For this, interviews were made with two groups of respondents, one group composed of seven who at that time were licentiate students of the course who did the ENADE 2017 and another group composed of six persons who at the time of the interview were registered in the course and had already studied the disciplines of Organic Chemistry of the curriculum of the degree, In addition to a comparison between the students' impressions on the ENADE questions and the contents existing in the course curriculum. Based on the adopted strategy, it was possible to observe the difficulties faced by undergraduates in organic education, to which extent their initial formation as future teachers contributed to reduce such difficulties, how the interviewees imagine that they could improve the structure of the course to reduce these difficulties, if there were other experiences they experienced outside the course curriculum that contributed to this possible decrease in difficulties and, finally, how much the charge of ENADE in relation to Organic Chemistry really matches the needs of the licentiate students.
