Resumo
O presente projeto investigou o potencial do terreiro de Candomblé como lugar de ensino e aprendizagem, que venha a contribuir para a aprendizagem em História. Através desse trabalho, busca-se contribuir com a implementação da Lei 10.639/03 e para a promoção de uma educação antirracista. Para que a pesquisa se concretizasse, um estudo de caso foi feito sobre a casa Ilê Axé Tobi Babá Olorigbin, localizada no município de Ituiutaba-MG. A casa, com 8 anos de fundação, possui um histórico na atuação e na formação de professores. Foram estudadas as ações da casa e a história do Candomblé e foram realizadas entrevistas com 3 professores de História e dois professores do Ensino Superior. Para o produto do trabalho, foi elaborado uma proposta didática que busca valorizar os saberes ancestrais preservados nos terreiros de Candomblé. Toda a análise foi feita sob a luz da História Cultural, buscando compreender o geral através do específico. É fundamental ter-se claro que a proposta apresentada neste trabalho não pretende explorar o espaço do terreio em sua dimensão de fé, mas tão somente, seu potencial como lugar de memória das comunidades que preservaram saberes e costumes de matriz africana.
Abstract
The present project investigated the potential of the Candomblé as a place of teaching and learning, which will contribute to learning in History. Through this work, we seek to contribute to the implementation of Law 10.639/03 and to the promotion of anti-racist education. In order to carry out the research, a case study was carried out on the house Ilê Axé Tobi Babá Olorigbin, located in the municipality of Ituiutaba-MG. The house, with 8 years of foundation, has a history of acting in teacher training. The actions of the house and the history of Candomblé were studied and interviews were carried out with 3 History teachers and two Higher Education professores, and for the product of the work, a didactic proposal was prepared that values the ancestral knowledge preserved in the Candomblé houses. The entire analysis will be done under the light of Cultural History, seeking to understand the general through the specific. It is essential to be clear that the proposal presented in this work does not intend to explore the space of the religion in its dimension of faith, but only its potential as a place of memory of the communities that preserved knowledge and customs of African origin.
