Resumo
Esta dissertação tem como objetivo principal analisar a descaracterização do uso da
gíria nos blogs quando divulgadas pelos meios de comunicação, em especial, através
da internet. É incontestável a influência da internet nas diversas atividades humanas
do mundo contemporâneo, pois praticamente todos os aspectos de nossas vidas são
influenciados pelo desenvolvimento tecnológico. Assim, a internet assume um papel
primordial na divulgação da gíria, proporcionando uma aceitabilidade maior em
vários setores da sociedade. Desta forma, a presença da gíria nos blogs tem
contribuído para uma crescente aceitação e utilização por parte da sociedade e sua
conseqüente descaracterização. Neste sentido, este trabalho pretende mostrar como a
gíria é tratada nos dicionários de língua eletrônicos Aurélio XXI (1999) e Houaiss
(2001). As marcas de uso que são utilizadas para tratar a variação lingüística presente
nos dicionários constituem um relevante e sério problema. As divergências quanto à
utilização das marcas gíria nos dicionários são claras, principalmente devido à
incorporação destes vocábulos à linguagem cotidiana dos falantes. Assim, a
divulgação da gíria por meio da internet contribui para um aumento da aceitabilidade
da gíria e para sua utilização por todo e qualquer falante nas mais diversificadas
situações. Desta forma, os vocábulos gírios perdem a sua caracterização de gíria,
tornando-se vocábulos comuns.
Abstract
This dissertation has the main objective to analyze the distinction of the use of the
slang in blogs when divulged by the means of communication, especially in the
Internet. It is undisputed the influence of the Internet in the diverse human activities
of the contemporary world, therefore practically all the aspects of our lives are
influenced by the technological development. Thus, the internet take on a primordial
role in the spreading of the slang providing a bigger acceptability in some sectors of
the society. This way, the presence of the slang in the blogs has contributed for an
increasing acceptance and use on the part of the society and its consequent
distinction. In this direction, this work intends to show how the slang is treated in the
electronic dictionaries of language Aurélio XXI (1999) and Houaiss (2001). The use
marks that are used to treat the present linguistic variation in the dictionaries
constitute a considerable and serious problem. The divergences in the use of the
marks slang in the dictionaries are clear mainly due to incorporation of these
vocables to the daily language of speakers. Thus, the spreading of the slang by means
of the internet contributes for an increase of acceptability and use for all and any
speaker in the most diversified situations. Of this form, the slang vocables lose their
characterization of slang becoming common vocables.
