Resumo
Esta monografia tem o objetivo de investigar os símbolos e as iconografias relacionadas ao universo representativo LGBTI+ por meio da pintura como mecanismo de expressão artística. Partiu-se da analise histórica do lugar destinado aos indivíduos LGBTI+ com a apresentação de arquétipos relacionados à identificação desses indivíduos subjugados no decorrer da História por relações de poder. Falamos sobre a importância de uma consciência pró-LGBTI+ e a necessidade de se posicionar contra as intolerâncias e demonstrações de ódio.
A pintura foi a linguagem plástica escolhida para manifestar as imagens aqui propostas que dizem respeito ás várias demandas pró-LGBTI+. Palavras, ou ‘’frases pintadas’’, estão inseridas nas composições e referem-se á um ‘’grito de socorro’’ frente ás violências que essa comunidade é alvo cotidianamente. Também torna-se importante ressaltar a questão da minha potencialização no uso das cores, que apesar de ser a mesma paleta presente ao longo dos meus trabalhos, agora se encontram ressignificadas de forma política. As formas também se alteram, porque antes eram focadas em um copo íntimo e individual, mas no final configuraram-se como corpos de ação política e representação coletiva.
Abstract
This monograph has the objective of investigating symbols and iconographies related to the representative LGBTI+ universe through painting as a mechanism of artistic expression. It started from the historical analysis of the places destined to the LGBTI+ individuals with a representation of archetypes related to the identification of those people who were subjugated in the course of History by relations of power. We talked about the importance of a pro LGBTI+ awareness and the need to stand against intolerances and demonstrations of hatred.
The painting was the plastic language chosen to manifest the images here proposed which are related to various pro LGBTI+ demands. Words, or ‘’painted phrases’’, are inserted in the compositions and refer to a ‘’cry of help’’ in face of the violence that this community is daily target. It’s also importante to emphasize the question of my potentialization in the use of colours which, despite being the same pallet present throughout my work, are now in a political sense. The forms also changed, because before they were focused on and individual and intimate cup, but in the end are configured as bodies of political action and collective representation.
