Resumo
Este projeto desenvolve melhorias a serem implementadas em uma estrutura robótica para reabilitação do membro inferior. Esta estrutura será aplicada futuramente em pacientes que sofreram Acidente Vascular Encefálico (AVE). Uma das principais consequências do AVE é a hemiparesia em que os sobreviventes apresentam perda de movimento de uma das partes do corpo. Para tratar este problema, estruturas robóticas existentes na literatura proporcionam a reabilitação ou do membro superior ou do membro inferior. A estrutura do objeto de estudo deste projeto de fim de curso permite a reabilitação em conjunto de todo o lado hemiparético, isto é, a reabilitação do membro superior e principalmente do inferior. A partir do teste piloto com voluntários saudáveis e com pacientes de AVE, foram identificadas necessidades de melhorias mecânicas, como a modelagem de um novo mecanismo de acionamento e uma nova carenagem; eletrônicas e de desenvolvimento de novos jogos sérios para esta estrutura, que serão implementados neste projeto.
Abstract
This project looks for the development of improvements to be deployed in a robotic structure used for rehabilitation of the lower lim. This structure will be applied in the future on patients who suffered stroke. One of the main after effects of the stroke is the hemiparesis where the patients lose the movements of one part of the body. The robotics structures existents in the literature usually provides the rehabilitation of just one of the limbs (upper or lower limb). The structure of the research of this project allows the rehabilitation of all the hemiparesis sides, in other words, the rehabilitation of the upper and lower limb simultaneously. During the tests with volunteers and patients of stroke, was possible to detect the necessity of mechanical improvements, for example, the modelling of a new drive mechanism and of a fairing; electronics improvements and the development of new games in this structure, that will be deployed in this project.
