O grupo psicoterapêutico é uma atuação psicológica muito efetiva que beneficia seus participantes. Dessa forma, este trabalho propõe-se apresentar as minhas vivências e percepções enquanto psicóloga residente, que coordenava grupos psicoterapêuticos com pacientes oncológicos e seus acompanhantes, em esquema de tratamento ambulatorial em um hospital escola. Participei de 38 grupos durante o período de fevereiro a dezembro de 2019. Referenciando-me teoricamente e metodologicamente na Pesquisa Narrativa (Clandinin & Connelly, 2015), estudei as histórias narradas pelos participantes no grupo, entendendo a narrativa como a melhor maneira de simbolizar e apreender a vivência. A investigação narrativa ocorre em um espaço tridimensional constituído pelas características essenciais da experiência: a temporalidade; a interação entre pessoal e social; e a noção de situação e/ou lugar específicos. Analisando narrativamente meus textos de campo, os grupos emergiram como um importante espaço de escuta, acolhimento e reflexão, que propiciou aos integrantes ser, estar e se relacionar nos encontros.
Abstract
The psychotherapeutic group is a very effective psychological activity that benefits its participants. Thus, this work proposes to present my experiences and perceptions as a resident psychologist, who coordinated psychotherapeutic groups with cancer patients and their companions, in an outpatient treatment scheme in a teaching hospital. I participated in 38 groups during the period from February to December 2019. Referring myself theoretically and methodologically to the Narrative Research (Clandinin & Connelly, 2015), I studied the stories narrated by the participants in the group, understanding the narrative as the best way to symbolize and apprehend the experience. The narrative investigation takes place in a three-dimensional space constituted by the essential characteristics of the experience: temporality; the interaction between personal and social; and the notion of specific situation and/or place. Analyzing my field texts narratively, the groups emerged as an important space of listening, welcoming and reflecting, which allowed the members to be, be and relate in the meetings.
