Esta é uma pesquisa em Artes Visuais que reúne lendas e arquivos históricos do naufrágio do navio Príncipe de Astúrias para a criação de uma narrativa visual, oscilante entre realidade e ficcionalidade, usando as técnicas da gravura em metal. Este trabalho de conclusão de curso da graduação em Artes Visuais da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, apresentará o processo criativo desde a coleta de informações até o desenvolvimento das obras finais e sua exposição para o público. Compartilho experiências e testes feitos com as matrizes, além de reflexões sobre o fazer artístico que surgiram no tempo dedicado à produção das obras no laboratório de processos gráficos.
Abstract
This is a research in Visual Arts that brings together legends and historical archives from the sinking of the Prince of Asturias’ ship to create a visual narrative, oscillating between reality and fiction, using metal engraving techniques. This undergraduate thesis from the bachelor degree program in Visual Arts at the Federal University of Uberlândia will present the creative process from the collection of information to the development of the final works and their exhibition to the public. I share experiences and tests carried out with the matrices, as well as reflections on artistic making that emerged during the time dedicated to producing the works in the graphic arts laboratory.
