Title: A influência da assistência educativa perinatal no protagonismo feminino e na humanização do nascimento: uma revisão integrativa
Abstract: OBJECTIVE: To analyze the scientific evidence available in the literature regarding the influence of perinatal educational care on female empowerment and the humanization of childbirth, and to investigate the issues related to non-interventionist birth care that respects the wishes of the birthing woman. METHODS: This is an integrative literature review with a temporal scope from 2020 to 2025, carried out in the PubMed, SciELO and Cochrane Library databases, using controlled descriptors obtained from the Health Sciences Descriptors (DeCS): “Health Education”, “Pregnancy”, “Humanizing Delivery” and “Labor”, combined with the Boolean operators “AND” and “OR”. Full-text articles available free of charge were included, while systematic and integrative reviews, duplicate studies, editorials and publications that did not fall within the intended scope were excluded. The stages of identification, selection, data extraction and analysis followed the methodological rigor recommended for integrative reviews.RESULTADOS: To be part of this review, a total of 5,223 were selected, where – at the end – 11 were chosen to be included in the study.FINAL CONSIDERATIONS: The findings of this integrative review show that health education during prenatal care and pregnancy is a key element for the development of more satisfying, informed, and humane childbirth experiences.

Abstract: OBJECTIVE: To analyze the scientific evidence on the insertion of intrauterine devices (IUDs) by nurses, and its implications for access, equity, reproductive planning, and improvement of health internships, seeking to synthesize how the nurse's role can impact public health. METHODS: This is an integrative literature review including articles published between 2020 and 2025, retrieved from PubMed, LILACS, SciELO, and BDENF databases. Controlled descriptors from the Health Sciences Descriptors (DeCS/MeSH) were used: “Enfermeiros/Nurses” and “Dispositivo Intrauterino/Intrauterine Devices,” combined with the Boolean operators (“enfermeiros” OR “nurses”) AND (“dispositivo intrauterino” OR “intrauterine devices”). The study followed six methodological stages: problem identification, formulation of the guiding question, definition of inclusion and exclusion criteria, selection of databases and search strategy, categorization and data extraction, critical evaluation of the selected studies, and synthesis and presentation of the results. RESULTADOS: A total of 76 studies were initially identified, of which 10 met all inclusion and exclusion criteria and were included in this review. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS: IUD insertion performed by nurses is a safe, effective, and essential practice to expand access to reproductive planning, reduce unplanned pregnancies, and strengthen public health actions in Brazil. Adequate training, institutional support, and policies that recognize and regulate this practice are fundamental to consolidate this strategy within the Unified Health System (SUS).

Cuidados de enfermagem com lacerações perineais no pós-parto vaginal: uma revisão integrativa da literatura

Title: Cuidados de enfermagem com lacerações perineais no pós-parto vaginal: uma revisão integrativa da literatura
Abstract: Objective: To identify, in the scientific literature, the main evidence on the care and guidance to be offered to women with perineal lacerations after vaginal delivery. Methods: This is an integrative literature review based on PRISMA recommendations, with articles published between 2015 and 2024. The following guiding question was used: “What care is provided in cases of perineal lacerations after childbirth?”. The bibliographic search was conducted between January and May 2025, in the Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE/PubMed), Virtual Health Library (VHL), ScienceDirect, and Web of Science (WOS) databases. The following Health Sciences Descriptors (DeCS) were used: Perineum, Lacerations, Therapeutic Nursing, Care, and Postpartum Period, combined by the Boolean operator “AND.” Results: A total of 131 studies were found, and 9 articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected, addressing postpartum perineal care. Final considerations: The study highlights the diversity of methodologies in postpartum perineal care, with cryotherapy being the most widely used and highlighting the absence of standardized protocols. Most studies present immediate results, limiting the evaluation of long-term effects.

Tradução do plano de parto para a língua crioulo haitiano

Title: Tradução do plano de parto para a língua crioulo haitiano
Abstract: In the search for the humanization of childbirth, and bring back the woman in the role
of protagonist of her parturition process, the delivery plan plays a primordial role. We
can perceive in Brazil, a significant increase in foreign women over the years, in need of
care, but having difficulties due to the barriers of communication between her and the
team that assists her, because she often does not have knowledge of the Portuguese
language. With this objective, we developed the translation of the delivery plan already
existing in the municipality of Uberlândia, into the native Haitian Creole language, to
promote communicability between Haitians and the team that assists their birth
Methodology: The translation of this instrument was performed by native sorders,
because we did not find a sworn translator. Results and discussion: In the study in
question, the validation process was performed through the work of some Haitian
natives, we found it difficult to find studies already carried out in the area of translation
instrument in this language, and there is no theoretical framework for translation and
cross-cultural adaptation from Portuguese to Creole, and there is a lack of discussion on
the subject. Conclusion: In this way we can conclude that the humanization of childbirth
has been happening gradually, and has been strengthening in a concrete way, but still
encounters difficulties mainly with the team that assists the parturient, I propose that
there should be more training and guidance in order to foster the need for change to
ensure women the right to exercise their autonomy and decision-making through the
delivery plan. We explained that Brazilian women already exercised their right to the
birth plan and that they were also entitled to everything proposed there, because the
right was acquired by all women living in Brazil.
