Title: Memorial descritivo-reflexivo: tecendo fios entre atuação/formação de uma professora/pesquisadora no campo da educação musical
Abstract: This descriptive-reflective memorial weaves together threads from my educational background and professional career at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). It describes how I developed and established myself as a teacher and researcher in the field of music education. The Memorial is one of the requirements for promotion to Full Professor in the Higher Education Teaching Career at UFU. It is organized into six parts: in the first, I provide an introduction; in the second, I describe my general academic and musical education; in the third, I discuss how I became a music teacher and professor at UFU in undergraduate and graduate (master's) programs; in the fourth, I describe my development as a researcher and professor/research advisor; in the sixth, I substantiate my work as a researcher in the field of music education; and, finally, I offer my final thoughts on my process and work as a professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia. This process involved not only (re)constructing and (re)visiting my teaching/research experience in the various paths I have taken, but also enabled me to (re)connect with teachers from my childhood, colleagues, students, as well as (re)visit pedagogical actions, bibliographic productions, and moments that were “loose” in the flow of academic life over the years.

Title: O violão, bem junto ao peito: dedilhando histórias de ensino, música e relações humanas
Abstract: This academic memoir, entitled “The Guitar, held close to the chest: fingerpicking narratives of teaching, music, and human relationships”, reflects my personal and professional trajectory, as a professor of the Undergraduate Course in Music at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) with a focus on the guitar instrument, and it is submitted to fulfill part of the requirements for Promotion from the rank Associate Professor IV to Full Professor in the Higher Education Career, in accordance with MEC Ordinance No. 982, of October 3, 2013, regulated by the Resolution No. 3/2017, of the Board of Directors of the Federal University of Uberlândia, of June 9, 2017. Its content reflects my professional actions, surrounded by those who co-created this path alongside me. A journey that has resulted in a book, recordings, academic lectures, project coordination, participation in final thesis committees, student mentorship, and leadership positions. From my 44 years as a teacher, from the pillars of university work – teaching, research, extension and management – I report on the actions that, beyond technical knowledge, were built with deep love for music, the guitar, teaching, and people, always grounded in a belief in public, free, and quality education.

Corpo docente: um memorial protesto (de uma corporeidade resistente)

Title: Corpo docente: um memorial protesto (de uma corporeidade resistente)
Abstract: This Teaching Memorial brings together essays that narrate the formation of the teacher's (author's) corporeality. Through fictional autobiographical writings, aspects are addressed that reveal a "B side" of teaching—that which escapes traditional forms of documentation, such as the Lattes platform or career progression reports.
The essays draw attention to tacit dimensions of the teaching experience: feeling, moving, dreaming, and motivating oneself in the daily practice of teaching. By highlighting these sensitive elements, the memorial also constitutes a gesture of protest—highlighting what is silenced in official records but pulsates within the faculty. Productions in teaching, research, management, and outreach are present, but between the lines, in the details, in the footnotes.
The memorial also includes two volumes entitled Fleshy Notebooks—compositions in text and image (body writings) constructed in dialogue with the environments that nurture the creation of classes, programs, and projects.

Title: Memorial
Abstract: This Memorial outlines my professional trajectory as a Music lecturer in higher education, with an emphasis on the key stages of my academic and artistic development. The main section, titled Trajectory, is structured into two major parts. The first details my formative years and professional accomplishments prior to joining the Federal University of Uberlandia (UFU). The second focuses on my career at UFU, organized by the types of activities I have undertaken: teaching, student supervision, research (including artistic and scholarly output), university extension activities to the community, technical duties, and academic administration responsibilities. The report highlights my contributions in each of these areas, examines the central themes of my research and supervision work, and reflects on potential future directions in my career.
