Since the beginning of my work as a professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia, in August 2004, still as a master, I started teaching, research, extension and management activities at the Institute of Psychology-UFU. I concluded my doctorate in June 2005, at the Graduate Program in Psychobiology at USP in Ribeirão Preto, and since then I have been developing research projects that investigate the following topics: attention and working memory, information processing, visual search , perception and attentional system, perception of movement (looming), eye movement, psychometry and psychological instrumentation. There were 12 undergraduate and graduate courses (stricto sensu and lato sensu), taught to more than 1200 students over almost two decades. I supervised 15 stricto sensu master's students, 16 students in graduation course conclusion works, 11 students in scientific initiation works (CNPq, FAPEMIG, UFU), six lato sensu specialization course conclusion monographs and three students in developed projects with the Undergraduate Scholarship Program at the Federal University of Uberlândia. Regarding bibliographic production, since 2006, 27 complete articles have been published in indexed national and international journals, three book chapters, in addition to many abstracts published in the annals of various meetings and congresses. During this period I regularly participated in scientific events in the areas of Cognitive Psychology, Perception and Psychological Assessment. In the field of psychological assessment and instrumentation, I registered, with the National Institute of Industrial Property – INPI, two computer programs intended for the recording of human behavior and collaborated in the validation process of scales and questionnaires. I also participated in 34 master's and four doctoral committees, 45 master's qualification committees and seven doctoral qualification committees. There were 33 boards for undergraduate course conclusion work and three boards for public tenders in selection processes for hiring professors for higher education. I was, on two occasions, Coordinator of the Graduate Course in Psychology (2006-2008 and 2010-2012) and Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Psychology – UFU during the year 2015. As coordinator of the Graduate Course, I participated in several curricular reforms and the creation of new undergraduate courses conducted within the scope of the Graduation Council (CONGRAD) and the University Council (CONSUN) of the Federal University of Uberlândia, in a period of intense learning. During the period between September 2009 and August 2010, I was a CAPES scholarship holder in a Post-Doctoral Internship carried out at the Vision Lab, Concordia University, Montreal - Québec, Canada, under the supervision of Prof. doctor Michael von Grunau. During this period, I was able to develop studies on the attentive system, eye movement and perception of optical flows. Currently, I coordinate the Laboratory of Fundamentals and Measures in Psychology and I am a member of the Laboratory of Psychobiology and Cognitive Sciences, both linked to the Institute of Psychology - UFU.
