Title: A logística reversa no município de Ituiutaba, MG: uma análise da parceria entre Boticário e Coopercicla. O programa Boti Recicla na cooperativa de reciclagem de Ituiutaba, MG
Abstract: This undergraduate thesis generally aims to analyze the reverse logistics of post-consumer packaging, focusing on the partnership between the cosmetics company O Boticário and the Cooperative of Recyclable Material Waste Pickers of Ituiutaba, Minas Gerais (Coopercicla). Inserted into a context marked by the increasing generation of urban solid waste, the present study sought to understand, in light of the Brazilian National Solid Waste Policy (PNRS), the advances, challenges, and contributions of this partnership to waste management and the promotion of the circular economy in the municipality. The research adopted a qualitative and quantitative methodological approach, combining semi-structured interviews with various subjects and agents involved in the process, including cooperative members, consumers, O Boticário store employees, and informal waste pickers, with the analysis of numerical data on the flow of recyclable materials and Coopercicla’s performance in the Boti Recicla program. The results allowed for an understanding of the partnership's dynamics and its socio-environmental impacts. It was, therefore, observed the strategic role of the cooperative in reverse logistics and the importance of informal waste pickers, often rendered invisible, in the recycling chain. The research also revealed structural obstacles, such as the lack of fiscal incentives and public investments, which limit the potential of the circular economy in the municipality. It is concluded that the partnership between O Boticário and Coopercicla presents potential for improvement, making it a viable model for the sustainable management of solid waste. The experience studied offers subsidies for strengthening public policies, qualifying corporate practices, and proposing new investigations on the topic.

Distribuição espacial da dengue no município de Ituiutaba-MG: uma análise dos anos de 2017 a 2024

Title: Distribuição espacial da dengue no município de Ituiutaba-MG: uma análise dos anos de 2017 a 2024
Abstract: Dengue, a disease transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito, remains a major public health
challenge, particularly in tropical and subtropical regions. In urban environments, socio-spatial
factors—such as population density, domestic water storage, and unequal access to sanitation—
shape the territorial distribution of cases and demand geographically informed approaches to
prevention and control. This study analyzes the spatial distribution of dengue in Ituiutaba,
Minas Gerais, from 2017 to 2024, based on the framework of Health Geography. Secondary
data from the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN) were organized by
neighborhood and year, statistically processed, and mapped using QGIS. Results show a total
of 12,886 confirmed cases, with highest incidence concentrated in central neighborhoods,
particularly Centro, followed by Pirapitinga, Natal, Independência, and Platina. A clear seasonal
pattern was identified, with peaks between February and May, and epidemic years occurring in
2019 and 2023, contrasting with reductions in 2021 and 2024. Despite the significant decline
in 2024, case dispersion toward peripheral areas highlights the need for continuous
epidemiological surveillance and decentralized actions. The findings indicate that the
persistence of dengue in Ituiutaba is linked to combined socio-spatial, climatic, and
infrastructural factors, reinforcing the importance of intersectoral public policies, sanitation
improvements, and strengthened environmental education as key strategies for prevention and
control.

O estágio como território formativo: reflexões sobre a aprendizagem docente e a construção da profissionalidade em Geografia

Title: O estágio como território formativo: reflexões sobre a aprendizagem docente e a construção da profissionalidade em Geografia
Abstract: This study results from the experience gained during Geography teacher education, integrating theory and practice throughout the undergraduate program. The undergraduate thesis (TCC) is a mandatory curricular component of the Geography course at the Federal University of Uberlândia, serving both as an evaluative requirement and as an opportunity to systematize the knowledge acquired. The centrality of supervised internships is highlighted, regulated by Law No. 11,788/2008 and UFU’s CONGRAD Resolution No. 93/2023, which constitute a privileged space for articulating theory and practice, essential for building a teaching identity. However, this experience is shaped by challenges such as school infrastructure limitations, misalignment between academic and school calendars, and pressures from recent educational policies, including the BNCC and the High School Reform, which tend to diminish the critical nature of teaching. In this context, the study investigates how supervised internships in Geography contribute to teacher learning and the professional development of pre-service teachers. The research adopts a qualitative, descriptive-reflective approach, based on bibliographic analysis and a critical review of experiences carried out during supervised internships in public schools in Ituiutaba-MG, using observations, teaching practices, lesson plans, and systematically recorded reports as sources. The theoretical framework engages with authors discussing teacher education, educational policies, and the role of school Geography. The study is structured into three chapters, covering the theoretical foundation, a diagnosis of the schools, and practical internship experiences, concluding with reflections on the learning outcomes, limitations, and the impact of the internship on the formation and professional identity of future teachers.
