In this context, mechanized forest harvesting plays a strategic role, as it represents a significant portion of operational costs and directly impacts industrial performance indicators. Given this scenario, the present study aimed to implement the A3 Report, grounded in Lean Manufacturing philosophy, in the mechanized eucalyptus harvesting process, seeking to increase productivity, operational efficiency, and mechanical availability. The research is characterized as applied, with a qualitative-quantitative approach and descriptive nature, conducted through a case study in an operational module composed of harvesters and forwarders operated by newly trained professionals. Data collection involved direct observation, interviews with managers and operators, and analysis of operational performance indicators. The results showed initial process stabilization, improvement in operational efficiency and mechanical availability, as well as increased data reliability and technical development of the team. Although the productivity of the forwarder’s operation did not improve during the analyzed period, a maturation trend of the process was observed. It is concluded that the structured application of the A3 contributed to the organization of the management method, strengthening of standardization practices, and improvement in performance monitoring, demonstrating the feasibility of applying Lean philosophy in mechanized forest harvesting.
