Title: Produção de história em quadrinhos, com uso de ferramentas de design ligadas à forma da arte sequencial
Abstract: The universe of comic books history has grown exponentially throughout the years following the creation of amercian comics post-second world war, and the growth of the manga, in the 90s. With the passing of the years, this form of communication transformed into an enormous cultural universe, filled with endless possibilities. The surge of digital techniques popularized the process of this type of content, and the advancements of the internet, its reach. Therefore, this project consists of the creation of an investigative, polítical, modern, supernatural and dark digital comic book, utilizing Design tools in all stages of its development. The process will acompany studies about the history of comic book and classics of the supernatural and investigative style, in tandem with the constant use of varied design-linked tools, for the delivery of a striking and intriguing first chapter to the audience.
Through this work, the utility, practicality, and direct connection between design and the medium of Sequential Art will be demonstrated.

Title: Design editorial aplicado a um livro de receitas: projeto focado no desenvolvimento de paginas para um livro de receitas
Abstract: From a technical standpoint, editorial design is a set of intentional layout techniques focused on reading rhythm combined with graphic design that, through pauses, spaces, and fills, results in visual hierarchies that guide the reader’s eye. On the other hand, editorial design has a social role, and the contributions of this field to social narratives are rarely discussed. Therefore, this work proposes a reflection on editorial design from a sociocultural and economic perspective, based on the development of the pages of a cookbook written by a university student. To this end, we will present the contributions of editorial design to the field of culinary arts. Furthermore, the work is guided by the analysis of similar works and grounded in the design methodology of Bruno Munari (2008) and other authors who contributed to the development of the final product of this work.

Branding e narrativa visual na construção de uma marca de suplementos voltada ao bem estar

Title: Branding e narrativa visual na construção de uma marca de suplementos voltada ao bem estar
Abstract: This study aims to develop a branding project for a dietary supplement brand focused on well-being and quality of life, seeking to distance itself from traditional approaches in the sector, which are often associated with high performance and extreme performance narratives. The research is based on an analysis of the supplement market and contemporary consumer behavior, identifying opportunities for the development of brands that connect with a more realistic and accessible routine of body care. The Double Diamond model was adopted as the methodological framework, structuring the process into four stages: discover, define, develop and deliver. In the discovery phase, bibliographic research, market analysis, brand benchmarking and the collection of user perceptions were conducted. The definition phase established the brand strategy, including target audience, positioning and brand platform. In the development phase, the naming, visual identity, graphic system and packaging design for different product categories were created. Finally, in the delivery phase, brand applications, packaging prototypes and a summarized brand identity guide were presented. As a result, the project proposes a brand positioned within the territory of urban well-being, understanding body care as a continuous and imperfect process, offering a visual and conceptual alternative to traditional narratives in the supplement market.

Sensibilidade humana e inteligência artificial: projeto de um novo uniforme para o Cruzeiro Esporte Clube

Title: Sensibilidade humana e inteligência artificial: projeto de um novo uniforme para o Cruzeiro Esporte Clube
Abstract: This undergraduate thesis seeks to develop a project for a third kit for Cruzeiro Esporte Clube, searching for a common ground between human sensibility and the use of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the creative process of graphic design. The project adopts the Double Diamond methodology, structured into the phases of discovery, definition, development, and delivery. The discovery phase touches upon the historical analysis of the institution, the study of the brand manual, and the mapping of the fans' affective relationship, conceptualized as the "Cruzeiro Esporte Clube aesthetic." Based on these guidelines, the definition phase was structured around the concept "There will always be stars in the sky," drawing on the club's resilience through the greatest crisis in its history and the personal overcoming of the athlete and icon Matheus Pereira. The results culminated in the prototyping of a complete kit composed of official brand elements, technological typography, textures inspired by southern hemisphere constellations, and strong regional symbology. For visual validation, Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI) tools were used to generate hyper-realistic representations of the product application. Finally, although these technologies amplify the technical and quantitative capacity of production, design originality remains intrinsic to human cognition and guidance. Attributes such as intention, empathy, cultural repertoire, and curation proved to be irreplaceable, which confirms the necessity of the designer's authorial originality, especially in preserving the identity connection between the kit and the fans.
