Educação e encontro

Title: Educação e encontro
Abstract: This course conclusion work ir presented as a reflective memorial, wich intends to link the theoretical-scientific themes and research that contributed and remain current to reflections on the impasses of Education, mainly, the regarding the analyzes about the crisis in education as a problem closely linked to the political sphere and how the understanding of this problem provides important elements that contribute and enrich the studies regarding the instruction of profissionals in education and, consequently, the schooling of children and young people in the contemporary world. A issue that crosses the studies developed in this research is to understand and also to highlight education, especially the school space as the primordial field that promotes the encounter. The child’s encounter with himself and with the world, which reveals the learner’s ability to initiate the conscious transformation of being in the world [to renew the commmon world]. In order to do so, we will shed light on important reflections from researchers in the Human Sciences, namely, Philosophy, History, Sociology and Psychology, who have developed studies on Education and, therefore, their research has become significant in the trajetory of my instruction, as well as, They express the principles, valeus and possible proposals for overcoming dilemas for Education in the contemporary world. The main theoretical reference for this work will be the thought of the philosopher Hannah Arendt, who has a rich and extense theoretical production dedicated to the dilemas of contemporaneity. In this work I will use Arendt’s text, The crisis in education, wich is part of the book Between past and future (1961). Arendt’s main work, Origins of totalitarianism (1951), wich inaugurated her thinking in the sphere of Political Theory, is dedicated to the historical-political examination of the elements that, if not favored, in a way prepared the way for the outbreak of the totalitarian moviments and regimes of Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) in Germany and Josef Stalin (1878-1953) ex-USSR. This work opened the way for the philosopher to develop reflections on the impasses that these events bequeathed to the contemporary world, such as, analyzed in the crisis in education, in wich Arendt exposes a critique of the recurrent crisis in education as a sphere that suffers the implications of political crisis, and also, of its inherent ruptures, that is, the crisis in education, is not a isolated phenomenon. Arendt caracterizes it as an event thar can occur worldwise. In this sense, it is impossible to isolate the crisis in education from the political and economic problems of the world. In the course of her analyses, Arendt highlights the importante role of natality and the teacher in the process of initiating newcomers [students] in and for the world, as a process of finding themselves responsible for the common world.

Title: O papel da literatura afro-brasileira na desconstrução de esteriótipos raciais na educação infantil
Abstract: This article aims to analyze the contributions of Afro-Brazilian literature to the deconstruction of racial stereotypes in the context of early childhood education. To this end, an integrative review of articles published in Scielo, CAPES journals, and Google Scholar was carried out. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 6 articles published in Brazilian journals between 2005 and 2024 were selected. The results show that positive representation in Afro-Brazilian children's literature contributes to building the self-esteem of black children and promoting a more equitable and inclusive society. However, challenges such as the resistance of some educators and the lack of specific training in the area were identified. The adoption of an anti-racist pedagogy, focused on valuing diversity and deconstructing stereotypes,is fundamental for more inclusive and transformative educational practices.
