This memorial was prepared as part of the requirements for his promotion to Class E, also known as “Titular” Professor, within the higher education career track. Over the course of 16 years dedicated to federal public service, Professor Aniel has significantly contributed to undergraduate and graduate education, covering subjects in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computing, Telecommunications, and Control and Automation Engineering. Since 2019, he has been a permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPGEELT). His academic journey began with his technical training at SENAI, advancing through undergraduate, master's, and doctoral studies in Power Electronics. Throughout his career, he has not only taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels but also supervised several students and coordinated research projects funded by research agencies. He served as the coordinator of the Control and Automation Engineering program and, as the local coordinator of the Brafitec project from 2015 to 2018 contributing to promoting international student mobility. Additionally, his publications in national and international journals and conferences, along with his extension projects, underscore his commitment to academic excellence, research, and service to both the academic community and society at large.
