Title: Entre o trabalho e a escola: a percepção socioespacial e o pertencimento de jovens estudantes do ensino noturno
Abstract: This article is the result of a study conducted with high school students in the evening program at
a state public school located in the municipality of Ituiutaba, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The study aims to
analyze how students attending evening high school perceive the geographical space in which they are
embedded, taking into account their daily experiences between home, work, and school. The research is
grounded in contributions from phenomenology and critical geography, seeking to understand the socio-
spatial perceptions constructed by students based on their experiences in urban space. Methodologically,
semi-structured interviews and focus groups were conducted with the students, in which their daily
routines, movements through the city, and experiences related to study and work were discussed. The
results indicate that the daily experiences of these young people contribute to the construction of different
perceptions of the urban spaces they frequent. Thus, the study highlights the importance of considering the
experiences of night school students in understanding the relationships between youth, daily life, and
geographic space.

Title: Capitalismo de plataforma e uberização do trabalho em uma perspectiva de raça na cidade de Ituiutaba, Minas Gerais, Brasil
Abstract: This Undergraduate Thesis aims to analyze the manifestations of platform capitalism and the uberization of labor based on the reality of the municipality of Ituiutaba (MG), considering the relationships between labor and race. The research was guided by the historical-dialectical materialist method and used as methodological procedures the application of questionnaires and direct observation with 20 workers from the taxi and motorcycle taxi sector.

The results indicate that, although Ituiutaba (MG) does not present a consolidated presence of digital platforms based on algorithms and intensive data use, the investigated sector exhibits characteristics associated with uberization, such as informality, absence of labor rights, flexible working hours, and the transfer of activity-related risks to workers. It was also observed the predominance of Black and mixed-race workers, highlighting the persistence of racial inequalities in the labor market.

It is concluded that the case of Ituiutaba expresses a particular form of territorialization of uberization, marked by the coexistence between traditional services and new forms of intermediation, revealing the historical persistence of labor precarization under new dynamics.

Práticas sustentáveis na agricultura familiar em Canápolis, MG

Title: Práticas sustentáveis na agricultura familiar em Canápolis, MG
Abstract: ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the sustainable practices adopted in family farming in the
municipality of Canápolis, MG, with an emphasis on soil management techniques. The
research focuses on identifying the most common solutions used by family farmers, the
challenges faced, and the opportunities to expand the implementation of these practices, with
the objective of promoting soil protection, improving food security, and contributing to
sustainable rural development.
The methodology was conducted using a qualitative and quantitative approach, employing
semi-structured interviews with 6 family farmers from the municipality of Canápolis, one of
whom also works as an agricultural technician, which allowed for a privileged view of the
difficulties and potential of technical assistance in the region. Participants were selected by
"snowball" sampling, and the interviews addressed the practices adopted, which include no
till farming, crop rotation, and organic fertilization.
After transcription, the content of the conversations was analyzed based on the content
analysis technique. The information gathered was then complemented with data from the
IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) and the Sustainable Development
Index of Cities (IDSC). The results show that practices such as no-till farming, crop rotation,
and organic fertilization reduce erosion and improve soil quality. However, their expansion is
limited by a lack of technical assistance, dependence on external inputs, financial constraints,
and resistance from farmers. The technician interviewed confirmed that resistance to change
and insufficient training are the main obstacles. Data from the IDSC reinforce this scenario,
indicating that Canápolis has a low level of sustainable development (48.61). Complementary
analysis of the IDSC indicators points to weaknesses, especially in dimensions related to
sustainable agriculture and responsible consumption, in line with SDGs 2 and 12. It is
concluded that increased government support for family farming is fundamental, through
effective public policies such as accessible credit lines, the creation of a municipal program
for continuous technical assistance, and a technical training program aligned with the SDGs,
to promote the widespread adoption of sustainable practices. These measures are essential to
guarantee soil protection, food security, and sustainable development in the municipality of
Canápolis, MG.

Reflexões sobre as contribuições do estágio para a formação docente em Geografia.

Title: Reflexões sobre as contribuições do estágio para a formação docente em Geografia.
Abstract: This article, titled “Reflections on the contributions of the teaching internship to Geography teacher trainings submitted as a requirement for the completion of the Geography Licentiate degree program at the Federal University of Uberlândia (Pontal Campus) aims to reflect on the contributions of Internships III and IV to teacher training, based on experiences gained in public schools in the municipality of Ituiutaba, Minas Gerais. The methodology adopted involved a literature review to provide a theoretical basis for the accounts and themes addressed, while also maintaining a descriptive and reflective approach that encompassed classroom observation, the planning and execution of teaching practice (leading classes), and the implementation of didactic projects. Preliminary results highlight the importance of the internship as a fundamental stage in developing the competencies and skills required for classroom teaching. Furthermore, it represents a timely opportunity for reflecting on the relationship between theory and practice within the context of constructing a professional teaching identity.
