Acessibilidade da informação em documentos acadêmicos: Uma proposta de reformulação de editais de monitoria a partir do design

Title: Acessibilidade da informação em documentos acadêmicos: Uma proposta de reformulação de editais de monitoria a partir do design
Abstract: Institutional communication in universities is essential to ensure access to academic information; however, bureaucratic documents, such as public notices, often present challenges related to the organization and understanding of their contents. In this context, this study investigates how the principles of Information Design and Legal Design can contribute to making academic notices clearer, more accessible, and centered on user needs. The study aims to propose the redesign of a monitoring program notice from the Undergraduate Design Program at the Federal University of Uberlândia, based on a user-centered design approach. The adopted methodology is applied, qualitative, and exploratory, using the Double Diamond method, divided into four stages: discover, define, develop and deliver. A comparative analysis of similar institutional notices and a qualitative survey with students who had previous experience with monitoring notices were conducted to identify difficulties, needs, and opportunities for improving information communication. Based on the collected data, strategies for content reorganization, text reformulation, and the application of visual resources were developed. As a result, a redesigned notice proposal was created, demonstrating the potential of Information Design as a tool to improve institutional communication, facilitate access to information, and bring bureaucratic documents closer to user experiences.

Title: Ugovi: design de experiência e interface no auxílio à jornada do paciente oncológico
Abstract: Socialization is an intrinsic aspect of human health, acting as a preventive factor against psychological disorders such as anxiety and depression. In the oncological context, this need becomes even more critical, as the physical and emotional fragility resulting from treatment intensifies social isolation, potentially compromising
therapeutic adherence and patient well-being. Given this scenario, this study proposes the development of
a mobile application designed as a social network to support oncology patients, aiming to connect them
with individuals in similar situations and volunteers. The research investigates how User Experience (UX)
guidelines can enhance the support and mediation of these connections. The system features functionalities
such as the sharing of experiences, availability for visits, and active moderation, seeking to offer an interface that humanizes the treatment process and minimizes the impact of cancer on these individuals’ lives.

Title: Harmonia habitacional - um estudo da influência do design de interiores na minimização da ansiedade e melhora da saúde mental do usuário
Abstract: Anxiety and other mental health disorders pose significant challenges to public health, requiring solutions that integrate different fields of knowledge. In this context, the relationship between the built environment and the psychological state of individuals is gaining increasing importance. This work aims to study how interior design can contribute to the improvement of individuals' cognitive state, based on studies and theoretical foundations in areas such as environmental psychology, neuroarchitecture, chromotherapy, and biophilia. Through the analysis of these concepts, an interior design project was developed to create a space capable of promoting the mental and cognitive well-being of the resident. This is a real case study that will be executed, as it has undergone approval by the property owner, considering her specific needs."

Bliss design decor: o design conceitual para uma empresa de decoração de eventos

Title: Bliss design decor: o design conceitual para uma empresa de decoração de eventos
Abstract: This work presents the creation of a concept office to improve receptivity of face-to-face service of clients of the company Bllis Design Décor, which operates in the events market since 2016. The company has been standing out in the market due to its innovative development within the events segment, as it seeks to explore affective memories and offer personalized and creative solutions for its clients, serving corporate and individual event projects.
However, it is necessary the idealization of a concept space with environments that resignify face-to-face service in a different, assertive, and sensorial way, enabling sensory and affective experiences that correspond not only to the service, but also seek to achieve another “purchasing” experience related to the provided services. Exploring comfort, warmth, sensations, and other possibilities that sensory design can offer was the project strategy that guided the design of the space, making the office’s aesthetic much more attractive to clients.
As a methodology we used a process design that was developed according to the Double Diamond’s four phases: Discover, Define, Develop and Deliver. The result was an interior project in which references close to minimalist aesthetics molded a “neutral” environment capable of receiving diverse and different customer profiles.
