Abstract: The Amazon hydrographic region, characterized as the most extensive terrestrial hydrographic network in the world, covers almost 50% of Brazilian territory, with great potential for hydroelectric power generation due to its large volume of water and variations in the region's topography. The main basis of the country's electricity generation system consists of hydroelectric power plants (HPPs), which account for approximately 60% of Brazilian energy production. However, the presence of HPPs in Brazilian territory results in changes to the area's water resources, accompanied by significant environmental impacts. Given the environmental sensitivity of this area, this study analyzes the water dynamics of the Santo Antônio Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) and strategic tributaries, such as the Madeira River and the Madre de Dios River, between 2015 and 2025. The central objective was to identify and map variations in the water body, focusing on the detection of drought and flooding areas through time series data. To this end, image processing from Landsat 8 and 9 satellites (OLI/TIRS sensors) and the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) were used. Supervised classification was performed using the Minimum Distance (MinDist) method, allowing the quantification of spatial changes. The results revealed that the "Dry" class showed the greatest variability, being significantly impacted by the historical droughts recently recorded in the Madeira River basin. In contrast, the "Flooded" class demonstrated stability throughout the period. It is concluded that the use of low-cost geotechnologies is indispensable for precision monitoring in remote regions, providing support for water resource management in the face of the challenges posed by climate change in the Amazon.</description>

Abstract: Georeferencing of rural properties has become an essential tool to guarantee legal security, geometric precision, and land regularization in Brazil, especially after the requirements established by Law No. 10.267/2001 and the regulations of the National Institute for Colonization and Agrarian Reform (INCRA). This work aimed to describe and practically apply the technical procedure of georeferencing a rural property, covering all stages of the process, from the field survey to the certification of the geometry in the Land Management System (SIGEF) and the preparation of the technical documents necessary for the rectification of the property registration. The survey was carried out using GNSS receivers, with the determination of the coordinates of a base station at the property location through the IBGE-PPP service and the vertices with the real-time kinematic relative positioning method (RTK), ensuring precision compatible with that required by law. The data were processed and submitted to SIGEF, where certification confirmed the geometric consistency and the absence of overlaps. Finally, the plan and descriptive report were prepared, essential documents to guide the administrative procedure at the Land Registry Office. The results demonstrate the efficiency of the adopted methodological flow and highlight the importance of integrating geodetic techniques, geoprocessing tools, and legal norms for rural real estate regularization. The study reinforces the relevance of georeferencing as an instrument of territorial planning and registration security.</description>

Abstract: Changes in Land Use and Land Cover are rapid and end up generating significant impacts, mainly in the Cerrado Biome, due to anthropogenic activities. The municipality of Uberlândia (MG), located in the Triângulo Mineiro region, has undergone a major territorial transformation process since the 1980s, due to the continuous expansion of agriculture and the urban area.&#xD;
Therefore, the general objective of this work was to analyze the spatial evolution of Land Use and Land Cover in the municipality between 1985 and 2024, in order to evaluate the transformations and identify the main changes. The methodology used in the multitemporal analysis of remote sensing data, with images and maps from the MapBiomas platform - Collection 10 for the years 1985, 1995, 2005, 2015, and 2024. To ensure consistency between the statistical information, the Constant Total Area Normalization method was applied, using the Official Territorial Area of the municipality of Uberlândia, which according to the IBGE is 411,520.60 hectares, as a fixed reference for the percentage calculation of each class. The processing and calculations of the areas were performed using QGIS and Microsoft Excel software. The results indicate significant changes in Land Use and Land Cover in Uberlândia between 1985 and 2024, with a reduction in the natural formations of the Cerrado Biome and an expansion of anthropogenic activities. Pastureland was predominant in the early decades, while from the 2000s onwards, there was an intensification of agriculture, especially with the expansion of soybean and temporary crops. The urbanized area showed continuous growth throughout the period, highlighting the dynamics of territorial transformation associated with the economic development and population growth of the municipality.</description>
