Abstract: Introduction: Eating Disorders (EDs) are persistent alterations in eating behavior that impact an individual's physical and psychosocial health. Integrating psychology into an interdisciplinary team ensures comprehensive and humanized care. Aims: To structure a technical proposal for psychology services integrated into interdisciplinary ED outpatient clinics. Method: A qualitative study based on a narrative literature review and the development of a technical product. Results and Discussion: An analysis of 16 scientific publications and 20 legal documents revealed a lack of regulatory guidelines for interdisciplinary practice in these outpatient clinics within teaching hospitals. The technical proposal outlines psychological practice grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), encompassing case conceptualization, psychological assessment upon request, and the collaborative formulation of an Singular Therapeutic Project (STP) involving the team, the patient, and family members. Individual sessions employ CBT techniques (problem-solving, social skills training, gradual exposure, etc.) to address issues such as dietary restriction, binge-eating episodes, and compensatory behaviors. Concurrently, open waiting-room groups were structured for patients and families, covering topics such as diagnosis, the cognitive model of EDs, and body image. Continuity of care is managed through periodic re-evaluations using indicators: SPT goal attainment, dropout rates, and satisfactory service ratings (≥ 4). Final Considerations: It is expected that, following validation, this model will enhance the quality of care, clinical outcomes, and patient well-being.

Crianças “estranhas”: a infância marginalizada em evidência

Title: Crianças “estranhas”: a infância marginalizada em evidência
Abstract: Childhood is an extremely significant and valuable stage of development; however, not all subjects experience this phase surrounded by affection and care, and marginalized children reflect this reality. The aim of this study is to understand how these children are produced, using Freud’s concept of strangeness as a symbolic marker of these subjects, identified in this work as “strange.” The method used was an experience report, based on the analysis of field diaries produced during the follow-up of a “strange” child over a six-month period in a settlement. Through a historical retrospective, the study seeks to make explicit that the ideal of childhood was socially constructed and shaped by a bias of exclusion toward those considered deviant. Throughout the text, Lacanian subjective constitution and the subject’s position in the social field are used to argue that “strange” children are displaced from the place of rights, suffering from a triple abandonment: institutional, material, and discursive. Through the report, the study defends listening and the construction of bonds as an alternative and powerful tool of care, while also making explicit the many responses produced by the accompanied child during the work, considering that, amid subjective and material dismantling, it is still possible to shift and reposition oneself as a desiring and speaking being.
