Title: Crianças “estranhas”: a infância marginalizada em evidência Abstract: Childhood is an extremely significant and valuable stage of development; however, not all subjects experience this phase surrounded by affection and care, and marginalized children reflect this reality. The aim of this study is to understand how these children are produced, using Freud’s concept of strangeness as a symbolic marker of these subjects, identified in this work as “strange.” The method used was an experience report, based on the analysis of field diaries produced during the follow-up of a “strange” child over a six-month period in a settlement. Through a historical retrospective, the study seeks to make explicit that the ideal of childhood was socially constructed and shaped by a bias of exclusion toward those considered deviant. Throughout the text, Lacanian subjective constitution and the subject’s position in the social field are used to argue that “strange” children are displaced from the place of rights, suffering from a triple abandonment: institutional, material, and discursive. Through the report, the study defends listening and the construction of bonds as an alternative and powerful tool of care, while also making explicit the many responses produced by the accompanied child during the work, considering that, amid subjective and material dismantling, it is still possible to shift and reposition oneself as a desiring and speaking being.

Title: Permissão para sofrer: atuação da Psicologia Hospitalar no acolhimento ao luto perinatal Abstract: Perinatal grief constitutes an experience of intense emotional suffering that is often overlooked in social and institutional contexts, making it difficult to recognize and provide adequate care to bereaved families. In this context, Hospital Psychology plays a fundamental role by offering emotional support, qualified listening, and psychological assistance throughout the process of coping with the loss. This study aimed to understand perinatal grief from the perspective of Hospital Psychology, reflecting on the invisibility of this experience and the possibilities for psychological intervention in the hospital setting. This is a theoretical essay developed through qualitative bibliographic research, based on authors who discuss the historical construction of motherhood, grief theories, disenfranchised grief, and the role of Hospital Psychology. The analysis showed that perinatal loss goes beyond the biological dimension of a baby's death, involving the disruption of emotional bonds, parental projects, expectations, and the developing maternal identity. It was also observed that the insufficient social validation of this type of loss contributes to isolation, intensifies psychological suffering, and hinders the grieving process. It is concluded that Hospital Psychology plays a strategic role in recognizing and providing support for perinatal grief, contributing to the humanization of healthcare, the validation of families' pain, and the development of more ethical, sensitive, and integrated care practices.
