Abstract: This work proposes a community center for self-construction and a traveling technical
advisory program for the city of Montes Claros, Minas Gerais. Based on a reflection on the
low participation of architects and urban planners in the self-construction sector—a scenario
so prevalent in Brazilian cities and one that presents considerable needs and challenges that
could be addressed and mitigated with the assistance of these professionals—we understand
the importance of considering ways to bridge gaps and encourage exchanges, contributing to
both parties and building a more just society. Through a survey of the characteristics of
self-construction and the historical process of these professionals' departure from construction
sites, it was possible to gain a better understanding of the topic and consider ways for this
interaction to occur horizontally and participatively. Thus, a project was developed that
integrates training and technical guidance spaces, aiming to improve housing quality
strengthen community involvement, and foster closer ties between professionals and
residents.

Abstract: The present work proposed the creation of an urban park in the
city of Frei Inocêncio, MG, in a way that it becomes a connection
point between the city and the river, revitalizing the degraded
environment and creating a new public space in the municipality.
It aimed to work on the depollution of the river and assign new
meanings to the location.
Initially, a discussion on the landscape was presented, exploring
different authors’ understanding of it and how it relates to popular
knowledge. Subsequently, the relationship between the river
and the city was highlighted, depicting how it integrates into the
landscape of Frei Inocêncio. Further analysis was conducted on
the municipality, including its mobility, infrastructure, and landscape.
Lastly, case studies and the project named “Parque Linear
Suaçuí” were presented.

Abstract: This undergraduate thesis seeks to develop a project for a third kit for Cruzeiro Esporte Clube, searching for a common ground between human sensibility and the use of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the creative process of graphic design. The project adopts the Double Diamond methodology, structured into the phases of discovery, definition, development, and delivery. The discovery phase touches upon the historical analysis of the institution, the study of the brand manual, and the mapping of the fans' affective relationship, conceptualized as the "Cruzeiro Esporte Clube aesthetic." Based on these guidelines, the definition phase was structured around the concept "There will always be stars in the sky," drawing on the club's resilience through the greatest crisis in its history and the personal overcoming of the athlete and icon Matheus Pereira. The results culminated in the prototyping of a complete kit composed of official brand elements, technological typography, textures inspired by southern hemisphere constellations, and strong regional symbology. For visual validation, Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI) tools were used to generate hyper-realistic representations of the product application. Finally, although these technologies amplify the technical and quantitative capacity of production, design originality remains intrinsic to human cognition and guidance. Attributes such as intention, empathy, cultural repertoire, and curation proved to be irreplaceable, which confirms the necessity of the designer's authorial originality, especially in preserving the identity connection between the kit and the fans.

Abstract: In recent decades, discussions about sustainability and efficient use of natural resources have intensified in the design of the Built Environment, especially given the environmental impacts associated with the life cycle of buildings. In this context, the potential of using wood in combination with other materials, such as steel, in the composition of mixed vertical fencing systems stands out. This combination allows for greater construction versatility, ease of maintenance and disassembly, reuse of components, and the application of wood in different
techniques — in its solid or industrialized form — expanding its suitability for different production contexts. This study aimed to analyze different techniques for vertical fencing systems in steel and wood developed by Jean Prouvé, identifying the key aspects that make these construction solutions applicable in the current context. This study is both theoretically and technically relevant, contributing to the deepening of research on mixed construction systems, still little discussed in the literature, and discussing possible paths for developing more rational and sustainable solutions in architecture. The methodology adopted involved bibliographic and documentary research, redesign and three-dimensional modeling of the selected works, and constructive experimentation using scale models created with the aid of 3D printing of components. This approach allowed us to understand the assembly logic, the relationships between materials, and the structural and formal behavior of the systems, enabling an integrated analysis of their technical, environmental, and socioeconomic dimensions. The results demonstrate that Prouvé's construction principles, based on rationalization, modularity, and disassembly, remain fully relevant when reinterpreted in light of currently available technologies and materials. The conclusion is that mixed steel and wood systems represent viable, sustainable, and adaptable construction solutions capable of reconciling technological innovation, material efficiency, and environmental responsibility,
reaffirming the relevance of Jean Prouvé's legacy in the face of the challenges of 21st-century construction.
