Title: Igreja Nossa Senhora da Apresentação da cidade de Porto Calvo/AL: subsídios para uma gestão da conservação mais efetiva Abstract: This research proposes to analyze the challenges of preserving the listed property represented by the Church of Our Lady of the Presentation, located in the city of Porto Calvo, Alagoas, based on a theoretical and critical foundation of national regulations aimed at the protection and preservation of Cultural Heritage. The study aims to deepen the historical and documentary knowledge about the Church of Our Lady of the Presentation, the motivations that led to its listing as a heritage site, as well as to understand how the local community relates to this secular Catholic Christian building in contemporary times, in order to offer contributions to its conservation management. In this context, the importance of understanding the dialectical relationship between permanence and change in the preservation trajectory of the aforementioned Church is highlighted. To this end, a careful look is taken at the diffusion of historical, architectural, artistic, and landscape values associated with the property. The research is based on different approaches, using documentary, pictorial, and cartographic sources, which not only describe but also condition the perception of the place. These records highlight the natural conditions of the site where the old village was established, its topography, and the architectural characteristics of some buildings, including the location of the aforementioned Church, related to the process of occupation and consolidation of the territory by the Portuguese. The proposed approach covers the period from 1955 – the year the Church of Nossa Senhora da Apresentação was listed as a heritage site – to the presente day.

Title: Projeto para desmontagem: centro comunitário Viver, Aprender, Evoluir Abstract: The construction industry is responsible for more than one-third of global greenhouse gas emissions. In Brazil, the world’s sixth-largest emitter of GHGs, this sector accounts for approximately 27% of emissions. Given the climate crisis, it is therefore necessary to rethink current architectural production. Thus, this final thesis project is based on the development of a Design for Disassembly, a circular architectural design that does not perpetuate the destruction and depletion of natural resources. By maximizing the reuse of materials, the project addresses the needs of a community center for its own headquarters in the city of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. The project resulted in a theoretical analysis of the relationship between architecture, the climate emergency, and the circular economy; an architectural design for (dis)assembly; a catalog of reusable elements; and a manual for assembling and disassembling the project. It can be concluded that, in the global context of the climate emergency, the development of environmentally responsible architecture based on circularity is essential and unquestionable.

Title: Acessibilidade da informação em documentos acadêmicos: Uma proposta de reformulação de editais de monitoria a partir do design Abstract: Institutional communication in universities is essential to ensure access to academic information; however, bureaucratic documents, such as public notices, often present challenges related to the organization and understanding of their contents. In this context, this study investigates how the principles of Information Design and Legal Design can contribute to making academic notices clearer, more accessible, and centered on user needs. The study aims to propose the redesign of a monitoring program notice from the Undergraduate Design Program at the Federal University of Uberlândia, based on a user-centered design approach. The adopted methodology is applied, qualitative, and exploratory, using the Double Diamond method, divided into four stages: discover, define, develop and deliver. A comparative analysis of similar institutional notices and a qualitative survey with students who had previous experience with monitoring notices were conducted to identify difficulties, needs, and opportunities for improving information communication. Based on the collected data, strategies for content reorganization, text reformulation, and the application of visual resources were developed. As a result, a redesigned notice proposal was created, demonstrating the potential of Information Design as a tool to improve institutional communication, facilitate access to information, and bring bureaucratic documents closer to user experiences.

Title: Ugovi: design de experiência e interface no auxílio à jornada do paciente oncológico Abstract: Socialization is an intrinsic aspect of human health, acting as a preventive factor against psychological disorders such as anxiety and depression. In the oncological context, this need becomes even more critical, as the physical and emotional fragility resulting from treatment intensifies social isolation, potentially compromising therapeutic adherence and patient well-being. Given this scenario, this study proposes the development of a mobile application designed as a social network to support oncology patients, aiming to connect them with individuals in similar situations and volunteers. The research investigates how User Experience (UX) guidelines can enhance the support and mediation of these connections. The system features functionalities such as the sharing of experiences, availability for visits, and active moderation, seeking to offer an interface that humanizes the treatment process and minimizes the impact of cancer on these individuals’ lives.
