Title: Tecendo a trajetória acadêmica no ensino, pesquisa, extensão e gestão
Abstract: This memorial presents the academic trajectory of Professor Dr. Marlúcia Maria Alves, primarily within the Institute of Letters and Linguistics at the Federal University of Uberlândia. Activities related to teaching, research, outreach, and administration are presented. Regarding teaching, the courses taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels are highlighted. In research, the developed projects are presented; oral presentations given at scientific events in the field, mainly on Phonology, teaching, and linguistic variation; published articles and book chapters; completed and ongoing supervisions of master's theses, undergraduate research projects, and high school teaching; and technical production. Regarding outreach, some relevant actions are shown. And in administration, the periods leading the coordination of the UFU Language Center and the local PROFLETRAS program are presented. In concluding this memorial, I feel satisfied with what I have built at UFU. My actions have always aimed to strengthen the bridge between the university and public schools, from a perspective of social transformation and the valorization of Brazilian linguistic and cultural diversity. Throughout these years, my greatest commitment has been to contribute to the formation of critical individuals, capable of recognizing the value of their own speech, their own writing, and their linguistic identity. Each stage of my journey reflects this motivation: to use language—my object of study—as an instrument for reflection and inclusion.
